Dhoom and Dhoom:2 were 2 movies which had all the gloss and style but lacked soul. Yes, It's true. I didn't liked the latter parts. But this time being Aamir Khan in the sequel, I had some expectations from the movie. No one( Alas! I guess), who went to the theater expected a storyline. This what makes Dhoom:3 special. This venture has a plot. This movie has SOUL. Vijay Krishna Acharya's Dhoom:3 is easily one of the finest films to come out from Bollywood Industry. The fantastic visuals, the direction, the music, the execution of the script, The characters make Dhoom:3 spectacular. Though the plot has clichés, perfect execution makes the film delightful.

Performances:- Aamir Khan is the show stealer. Yes, he has not only stolen the money from the bank but our hearts too.(Nothing else to say about Aamir. Watch the movie. He has different shades.) Abhishek is good as the cop. Uday is again Mummy cute.Katrina Kaif had a brief role but she too was fantastic with dance and acrobatics. Siddharth Nigam as young Sahir was great. What a talent!

Music:- My pick of the lot is Malang because that song was turning point for the entire film. The thrill and the revelation of the suspense is wonderful. On the whole, Dhoom:3 is a must watch. A great entertainer. Recommended!

P.S:- Even I've watched The Prestige, but I have no complaints because some Indians really don't know how to appreciate a sincere effort! Thank you.

Storyline

Storyline

Vishi is a local goon who basically likes beating up people to get his work done but is nonetheless a kind-hearted person. On the other hand Khushi is an extremely clumsy girl who keeps losing her chances with destiny and gets suddenly lucky after she accidentally meets Vishi. Amidst the building chemistry between Khushi and Vishi, local cops and an international don named Xavier are on the look-out for AJ aka Jai who is a look alike of Vishi and is in the same city. The story takes a major turn of events when both AJ and Vishi come face to face.

Action Jackson movie Reviews

If it were only a fraction of its length, "Action Jackson" would be of the sort of perfectly-bad movies ideal for riotously ripping into with a group of snarky-sarcastic friends. However, its 3 hour run time turns it into a psychologically torturous endurance test as it drags its dead carcass through enough plot clichés and randomly thrown-in twists for four films.

Viewers lured in with the promise of a meet-cute Bollywood rom-com, will be confused and horrified when the body count reaches in the high hundreds. "Action Jackson" is actually a bizarre amalgamation of two Bollywood rom-coms, a stereotypical assassin- turned-good-guy out for revenge flick, and the Parent Trap. But with 007 Bond villains (I will admit, I enjoyed the super-campy villains). However, instead of a cohesive blending of these elements, it feels as if the random limbs from at least four different films were amateurishly hacked-off and thrown into a pile to rot together and produce this...thing.

Watch an old guy with obviously CGIed abs (they move up and down on their own!) play not one, but two, action heroes badly, as he poses like a teen model every chance he gets and speaks only in garbled, bizarre, one-liners ("It's my way, or the Skyway." "Me, criminally bad." are some of the gems) and flirts with two much younger, extremely similar women the plot keeps forgetting about.

The dancing is bad and makes no sense with the plot half the time, the lines are dubbed as poorly as an old kung-foo film and sometimes not translated at all, and most parts are so laughably wretched that you will openly mock the movie in order to stay sane.

I nearly cried when I discovered there was still over an hour left.

People walked out of the theater.

"Action Jackson" could have been "the Room" of the Indian film industry, but is so long and crappy, it really isn't worth bothering with.

Storyline

Sentinels, robots that were created for the purpose of hunting down mutants were released in 1973. 50 years later the Sentinels would also hunt humans who aid mutants. Charles Xavier and his X-Men try their best to deal with the Sentinels but they are able to adapt and deal with all mutant abilities. Charles decides to go back in time and change things. He asks Kitty Pryde who can send a person's consciousness into the person's past to send him but she can only send someone back a few weeks because if she sends someone back further it could harm them. So Logan decides to go back himself because he might be able to withstand it. So Charles tells him that it's Mystique who's responsible because when she learned about the Sentinels she sought out Bolivar Trask the man who created them and killed him. She would be caught and studied and her ability to change was somehow added to the Sentinels which is why they can adapt. Logan must go to the younger Charles and ask him to help; problem is........

X-Men: Days of Future Past Reviews

I must admit, the trailers didn't have me convinced - and after the sour taste 'Jack the Giant Slayer' left in my mouth, I was sceptic. I really dug Matthew Vaughn's approach with 'First Class' (who had a tough task rebooting the franchise after the lacklustre 'Last Stand' and the generic, dull 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine') and I wouldn't have minded him returning at all. But as it turns out, Bryan Singer (yes, I dare speak his name) still has a few tricks up his sleeve. For its sheer scale and epic storytelling alone, 'Days of Future Past' is fantastic.

It's a shame there's so much controversy surrounding this film, but I guess whoever chooses to deprive himself willingly of such a pleasure must be fully aware that he does so at his own expense. Because this is the kind of film that made me fall in love with movies in the first place.

Yet (despite my 10-star review), it's not perfect. And it's not 'The Usual Suspects' with mutants - how could it be; this is simply not that kind of film. But I have to say that pretty much my only gripe with this movie is that it has too many characters and that some of them don't get enough screen time (or actually, there's not too many characters: there's just too many great actors playing those characters – but then again, that's half of the fun). Of all the X-men films, this has the most complex plot – and also the most interesting. Different time-lines are tricky to do and can be rather hard to follow, but thanks to a (very!) clever script with a great part for Logan, we never get lost. And that's the best news: sorely missed in the last instalment (except for a hilarious cameo), the franchise has Hugh Jackman back. And of him at least we do get to see a lot, since he really leads us through this film (giving his best Wolverine performance yet along the way). If Logan can be called the heart of the X-men, then Charles Xavier must be the mind while Magneto and Mystique provide the - slightly twisted - soul, and seeing them all together again brought a broad, stupid grin to my face (which only got broader whenever Quicksilver appeared on screen - for reasons you will have to find out for yourselves).

What really sets the X-men films apart from the ever more derivative comic-book adaptations – at least as far as I'm concerned – is that I always genuinely cared for the characters, and 'Days of Future Past' is no exception. I love loud, spectacular action movies as much as the next guy, but if I don't get to care for the protagonists – what's the point? The reason I gave this 10 stars, and what is so exceptional these days, is that what we get here is a complex, smart Fantasy/Sci-Fi thrill-ride that respects its origins as much as it embraces the future, while never - ever - forgetting that its first job is to entertain the audience. For finding that perfect, rare balance between character-driven human drama and no-holds-barred popcorn action spectacle, 'Days of Future Past' deserves my 10-star rating (which is a first for me: I've never given 10-stars to a comic-book movie).

So my verdict: If you like to get your minds blown by something with true heart and soul, this massive 'mutant' of a film is upon you, and all you have to do is give in to the X-citement. Enjoy the ride.

Insurgent movie Reviews

I always have a bad habit on watching movie in cinema: will be fallen asleep effectively after 5 long lines' conversation between two characters in only 1 or 2 shots. And It happened. The Hunger Games: MorkingJay Part 1.

But not this film, Insurgent, although I did have a yawn or two during enjoying. OK! When I said It was enjoyable, It is to be. The story telling is smooth and impact, so much more of twists kick away boredom and artistic plots. You don't need to be an art person, this is not Birdman. A movie is told with the beginning, which is good; Hard to see major improvement (I mean really hard)in the sequel of you know I know all know movies', Shailene Woodley is recently my foresee superstar in the future. Others? Sorry and keep up. In the middle of lines, yawn happened. The best is the last part consists of multiple twists and emotional feeling, NICE. It did welcome and lured people to the next. I know I do.

I gave this movie scored 8/10, it is compared to the first one. I would not be surprised that people found it "Unsurprised", I don't know! Did I Just Watch The fault in our stars 2? If you know what I mean. As predicted, Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort are prepared to become legendary.

In a stark desert landscape where humanity is broken, two rebels just might be able to restore order: Max, a man of action and of few words, and Furiosa, a woman of action who is looking to make it back to her childhood homeland.

Storyline

Dominic and his crew thought they left the criminal mercenary life behind. They defeated an international terrorist named Owen Shaw and went their seperate ways. But now, Shaw's brother, Deckard Shaw is out killing the crew one by one for revenge. Worse, a Somalian terrorist called Jakarde, and a shady government official called "Mr. Nobody" are both competing to steal a computer terrorism program called God's Eye, that can turn any technological device into a weapon. Torretto must reconvene with his team to stop Shaw and retrieve the God's Eye program while caught in a power struggle between terrorist and the United States government.

Reviews

FURIOUS 7 starts its engine quietly, depicting cast members now back to their normal lives in the United States. But the wheel doesn't stop there (Statham), and with the arrival of a new enemy, the engine immediately roars anew and gears the movie toward an unprecedented high-velocity escapade, giving way to the most explosive, and probably, the most heart-wrenching chapter of the series, yet. YET, yes, because the saga doesn't show any sign of retirement, and with the new heights reached in Furious 7, the signage is quiet clear: the franchise is nowhere near its final destination.

There's a haunting poignancy in how the movie reiterates "family" and sticking together, while keeping the blazing momentum of the speed and action unperturbed, if not ever progressing. Centripetal to this theme, is Paul Walker's character's retirement, fueling the film's emotional core with piercing capacity . The level of action are thrust into all new-heights, and visual drama are brought into breathtaking levels. Whether action and emotions are immiscible or not, that theory is totally dismissed here, as both blends well to bring the attempt into a glorious result.

While the narrative is far from perfect, there are lots of reasons to shrug off such shortcoming. The movie vaunts a solid assemblage of action stars led by Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Kurt Russell and Jason Statham. Jason Statham, plays as the main antagonist here, and he makes a decent job, so does Vin Diesel as the leader of the crew. There is no shortage of visual extravagance, as every high-octane action stunt is delivered with breathtaking CGI-trickery, magnifying the thrill into several seismic folds. At such instances, the visual artistry overshadows the real intention of the moment, and when it does, the narrative falls with no more than rudimentary appeal. But then again, with the level of adrenaline employed to fuel up the death-defying action sequences that looms up every now and then, it will be totally forgivable to lose thought of the said flaw, and just enjoy the ride.

Regardless of its faults , FURIOUS 7 is a ride worth taking over and over again, not only because of the level of action it presents, but more strikingly, of how its core is imbued with resonating message of family and brotherhood. Evident to this, is how it pays tribute to Brian (Walker), dotting the movie with flashbacks of him, to further build up his character. And towards the end, as the momentum further spikes, the film places Brian on spotlight, bringing the movie into a highly sentimental send off and a heart-rupturing finish. This film deserves 9/10.

As Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world, he teams up with another super soldier, the black widow, to battle a new threat from old history: an assassin known as the Winter Soldier.

Storyline

For Steve Rogers, awakening after decades of suspended animation involves more than catching up on pop culture; it also means that this old school idealist must face a world of subtler threats and difficult moral complexities. Captain America movie Reviews

When Fury(L. Jackson, tough as usual, for him and these) is attacked by an unknown enemy, the Captain(Evans, will of steel, heart of gold) and Black Widow(Johansson, sultry and devious – this uses her right, finally) find themselves(they have a great chemistry, with a charming running gag of her wanting to pair him up with a girl, going through a list of ones they both know; and with his straightforward nature, and her relative lack of integrity, they both affect the other towards them, benefiting both) with no one else to trust, except perhaps the veteran Falcon(Mackie, amiable), as they uncover a genuinely devastating truth, while on the run from a considerable force – including the elusive assassin, The Winter Soldier(Stan, terrifying, pure awesome pretty much every second he's on screen).

This is just short of the level of The Avengers. It uses the strong continuity of the cinematic Marvel(as in, their own studio) universe better than any of the others, and does justice to many different elements, most of them set up prior to this. Events occur in this that will have serious consequences for future entries. The plot-driven nature and approach of a 70's political thriller(where some characters, all credible and with something to do, happen to wear a flag or the like) in a contemporary setting and with biting satire(on foreign policy, something not entirely new to these, but never before this sharp… commenting on mass surveillance and executions taking place before any trial against the (supposed) perpetrator) is spot-on. From a 40's war flick, with heroism and defined lines between good and evil, to the modern method of taking on the opposition – with spying, and questionable tactics(compared to one army versus another).

The action all comes about naturally, it's personal, hard-hitting and, on account of next to no CGI, it's "real". Each intense set-piece is varied(fighting, shooting, chasing both on foot and vehicular…), you will remember them, and except for one bit, they feel fresh and original. Among the very few weaknesses are that Sharon(VanCamp, another compelling and strong woman) has nothing to do in this, appearing as if her important scenes were cut, and/or that she was setup for the next one. She is the only one that that goes for, a pleasant surprise considering the seemingly bloated cast of characters. This explores S.H.I.E.L.D., and how the iconic super soldier fits into it …or, whether or not he does, at all. The 3D is unobtrusive, adding depth and atmosphere, similar to Avatar.

There is violence and disturbing content in this. I recommend this to any fan of, well, blockbusters. 10/10

Storyline

As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to the Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for a global adventure.

Word among those in the know is that Joss Whedon butted heads with Marvel regarding this sequel's storyline. Whedon, a truly gifted writer and director, wanted the same heart and soul as the first Avengers; Marvel wanted to "Michael Bay" the film with over-the-top fight scenes and explosions, as well as overstuff it with new characters and interconnected story lines from other films. (And, yes, "Michael Bay" is a verb for mind-numbing, plot-less, soul-sucking codswallop.) In context, Age of Ultron is actually enjoyable in that Whedon DOES manage to insert some soul into the film – a feat that would have been nearly impossible in less capable hands. With that said, I would give the film a 6.0 or so.

Apparently, Marvel is planning to continue the trend of overstuffed, interconnected story lines. Director Edgar Wright left Ant-Man last year amid similar complaints. This is concerning because based on the sheer number of superhero trailers I saw before Age of Ultron started, Marvel's omnipresence will soon know no bounds – but Marvel fans want quality, not quantity. Please don't confuse us with Transformer enthusiasts. Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain America: Winter Soldier were unexpected gems. Last I checked, their box-office intakes weren't too shabby either. More of that please.
